Meetings & Agendas

The Mercer County Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the County Commission Courtroom at the Mercer County Courthouse.  All meetings held on the second Tuesday of the month will be at 10:00 a.m.  The start time for meetings held on the fourth Tuesday will be determined by the County Commission at least a week in advance of the meeting. Special meetings are scheduled as needed and adequate public notice will be given.  All meetings are open to the public.

The County Commission sets its agenda on the first Tuesday of each month, which is one week prior to the commission meeting.  This allows time for adequate public notice as required by the West Virginia State Code. In order to be included on the agenda, a written request must be received in the commission office at least one week prior to the meeting. Requests to be on the agenda can be mailed to Mercer County Commission, 1501 West Main Street, Princeton, WV 24740 or emailed to mercercocommission@frontiernet.net.
